Ginevra Coradeschi – Arqueologia; Arqueobotânica (antracologia e carpologia)
Ginevra Coradeschi (GC) – Formou-se em Siena (Itália) em Ciências para o Património Cultural e é mestre pela Universidade de UTAD (parceria com o IPT – Tomar) em Arqueologia Pré-Histórica e Arte Rupestre (Mestrado Erasmus Mundus em Quaternário e Pré-História). Givevra é actualmente doutoranda na Universidade de Évora (programa de investigação: “Exploração dos recursos vegetais na História Humana – Uma visão arqueobotânica”. Para além da sua experiência em arqueologia de campo estudou pedologia e sobretudo arqueobotânica (identificação de frutos e sementes e carvões de madeira) em diferentes estágios (Quezon-Diliman (Filipinas), Ferrara (Itália), Tarragona (Espanha)).
GINEVRA CORADESCHI (GC) she graduated in Archaeology at the University of Siena (Italy) and more recently she took a master degree in Prehistoric Archaeology and Rock Art (Erasmus Mundus - University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro /UTAD-PT). Presently, GC is concluding her PhD thesis at the University of Évora-PT under the theme: “The Exploration of Plant Resources in the Human History - An Archaeobotanical Perspective”. Apart from her experience on archaeological digging, GC studied Soil Sciences and Palaeobotany (with a special focus on wood charcoal analysis and on the identification of fruit & seed assemblages). After long study-visits (at the University of Diliman / Philippines, National Museum of Natural Science /Paris, Superintendence for cultural heritage of tuscany region/ Italy) GC has been studying assemblages of ancient plant remains from diverse archaeological contexts. At Avecasta, GC at the very final stage of her PhD programme will present us her recent research work with detail - an excellent inspiring opportunity for all participants (teachers and students).
